Как да избегнем преяждането след постите и по празниците? Можем да избегнем преяждането в 2 фази - подготовка и изпълнение:

Фаза 1 — Подготовка: • Да спазваме принципа за скромността • Да купим и приготвим количество храна, която да е съобразено с броя на хората;• Да използваме умерени количества пикантни подправки, сол и мазнина при готвене;• Да наблегнем на зеленчуците и плодовете дори на Коледа и по-сетне;• Да приготвим храната бавно и на ниска температура (задушаване и мултикукър), за да ѝ запазим хранителни вещества най-добре;• Да нарежем продуктите (месото) на малки порции;• Да избягваме пърженето и тежките комплексни сосове;• Да изберем бели/светли тонове на покривката/салфетките. Червеното разяжда.• Да изберем средни чинии и малки прибори за хранене и сервиране и така да ограничим размера на порциите.

Фаза 2 — Изпълнение: • Да изберем подходящ час (вечерята да не е много късно);• Да сервираме вода преди храна и не по време на храна;• Да сервираме първо зеленчуците и след това месо (ако има)• Да сервираме по 1 сервизна лъжица от ястие (като за мостра) - особено важно на Бъдни вечер с 9-11-13 ястия;• Да танцуваме - някога беше задължително• Да се приберем пеш или да се разходим.
