Попитахме здравния инструктор Ники Суков дали е нужно да правим нещо определено за костите си в по-зряла възраст, какво е добре да ядем и какви са вредните навици, които ни сковават. „Грижата за костите не трябва да започне с нещо определено, отбеляза специалистът. - Масовите медии бълват в рекламните си блокове видове продукти, които се продават за костното здраве. Те не са лекарства, но се продават в аптеките. Тези реклами карат възрастните хора да си мислят, че имат нужда от определени грижи, или нещо различно от това, което са правили нашите дядовци и баби преди време. Това аз наричам геноцид на възрастните хора. Истината е, че с много прости средства във всеки момент, в който човек се осъзнае, че нещо не е както трябва в костната му система, могат да се направят няколко съвсем прости стъпки, за да се подобри чувствително състоянието на един човек.“

Вече е студ. Класически. Дошла, недошла астрономическата зима, започна да ни се яде повече и по-сериозна храна. Само 3 изядени на крак ябълки не вършат работа през деня. Защо е така? И все пак – каква е ролята на зарзавата през студените сезони – това попитахме здравния инструктор Ники Суков. „Според теорията за енергообмена на тялото, колкото повече енергия ни трябва, за да задържим телесната си температура, толкова повече енергия има нужда тялото да приеме, сподели специалистът.  Затова в  кръга на нещата е хората да се обърнат към бързите източници на енергия, които са въглехидратите, в частност сладкото и тестените изделия. Но това не са единствените източници на енергия. Има хора, които умеят да си набавят протеини, с протеинова храна (не е задължително да е животинска). Има една съвременна тенденция да се отваря погледа на хората към качествените мазнини като източници на добра енергия. Хора, които го правят, запазват интереса си към консумиране на мазнини и временно отслабват. Кетодиетата е от тях. Не бива обаче да се залита в посока консумиране изцяло на мазнини и животински храни“, каза още Ники Суков.

От няколко години се дискутират данни и таблици за тревожната тенденция на напълняване сред децата. Според Европейската асоциация за изследване на затлъстяването България е сред страните с често срещано наднормено тегло в детска възраст.
