The evening has come. The man picked up the little candle from the box, lit it up, and started climbing up the long spiral staircase.
"Where are we going?" asked the candle.
"We're heading to the top of the lighthouse to lighten the way of the ships in the harbor.
"But no ship in the harbor can see my light!" said the small candle.
"Although your flame is not big," said the man, "keep on burning as bright as you can. Leave the rest to me.
Thus, as they were speaking, they reached the top of the ladder and stood next to the large lantern of the lighthouse. The man approached the little candle and lit the lantern with her fire. Soon the large polished mirrors behind the lamp reflected the light of the small candle, and its light spread all the way around and into the sea, lighten the way of ships and seafarers.

Just as much as the flame of a small candle or even a match can spark a huge fire and lighten the way of hundreds of people, the sparks of your soul warmth and your good example can radically change the life, the point of view and the fate of others, even if you do not yet fully realize it yourself. So just be a light for the people around you, just like this lighthouse, which even in the darkest nights and in the most terrible storms continues to lighten the way of ships to the shelter of a safe harbor.
