Vegan Parmesan

A great alternative to your favorite vegan dishes, where -- with no reason at all -- they end up saying, "Sprinkle with Parmesan to taste". It may easily be used instead of grated Parmesan cheese for your vegan Pesto sauce.

Ingredients

  • 120 g of hemp seed;
  • 60 nutritional yeast;
  • ½ tsp garlic powder;
  • ½ tsp onion powder;
  • ¼ tsp fine salt

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients well;
  2. Add more salt if desired for a more pronounced taste;
  3. Store at room temperature in a tightly closed container for up to 3 months.

Notes

Alternatives

  • Replace the hemp seed with cashews, ground in a food processor.
