Uncle Lalyo's Burger

Ingredients

  • 750 g ground beef;
  • 1 egg;
  • ½ tsp salt;
  • ½ tsp pepper;
  • 4-5 tsp mustard;
  • 1 tsp savory;
  • 1 tsp paprika;
  • 400 g sour cream;
  • 300 g gouda, cut into sheets;
  • 1-2 heads of lettuce;
  • 2 large tomatoes;
  • ½ jar of pickles;
  • ½ fresh lettuce;
  • 4 burger buns

Directions

Meatballs:

  1. In a suitable bowl, mix the ground meat with salt, egg, black and red pepper, savory, 1-2 tsp. mustard, chopped onion and leave it in the refrigerator to absorb the spices for 2 hours;
  2. From the minced meat form 4 meatballs of appropriate size;
  3. Preheat oven (grill) to maximum temperature;
  4. Bake the meatballs for 5-6 minutes (on each side).

Garnish:

  1. Wash the lettuce and set aside to dry;
  2. Slice the tomatoes, onions and pickles;
  3. Combine in sour cream, 2 tsp. mustard and 1-2 tbsp. pickle marinade;
  4. Cut the buns in half and toast them for 1-2 minutes.
Assemble and serve the burgers immediately
