Ingredients
- 1 kg zucchini (3-4 pcs. of medium size);
- 1-2 tbsp of spices (mix of dried basil, oregano, red and black pepper and/or savory);
- 50 g parmigiano, grated;
- 100 g breadcrumbs;
- 50 g flour;
- 2 eggs;
- 1 tsp salt
Directions
- Preheat oven to 480℉ (maximum power);
- Slice the zucchini to ¼in sticks;
- Beat the eggs;
- Mix parmigiano with breadcrumbs and spices;
- Roll each stick in the flour, then dip it in the eggs and finally roll it in the breadcrumbs;
- Arrange the sticks on baking paper onto a grate;
- Bake until golden 20-25 minutes;
- Serve hot with homemade mayonnaise, tomato or milk-garlic sauce to your taste.
