Roasted sweet potatoes

Ingredients

  • 1 kg of sweet potatoes (2-3 sweet potatoes);
  • 4-5 tbsp olive oil;
  • 1 tbsp. pink pepper, ground;
  • 3-4 tbsp. dried basil;
  • Salt to taste

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 420℉
  2. Peel and cut each potato lengthwise into 5-7 mm chips;
  3. In a suitable container, mix the spices and salt and in portions, roll the cod potatoes in this mixture;
  4. Spread the potatoes on baking paper and spray with olive oil;
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes on one side, then turn them over and bake for the same amount on the other side;
  6. Serve the potatoes warm or at room temperature with hummus or mayonnaise.
