Ingredients
200 g freshly made ricotta;
2 tbsp honey;
3 tbsp heavy cream;
3 tbsp ground walnuts, hazelnuts or almonds (or a combination to taste);
pinch of cinnamon or vanilla (optional);
zest of ½ lemon (grated, optional) or a few drops of lemon juice.
Directions
Grind the nuts and the grate lemon zest;
In a bowl, put the ricotta and cream and mix well;
Add the honey, nuts and spices and mix carefully;
Divide into small bowls. Garnish with a little more honey and a few whole nuts if desired;
Store in a container, in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Notes
Variations:
Add chopped seasonal fruits (strawberries, apricots, figs, grapes).
Replace honey with stevia, cherry jam, raspberries, or berries.
