Linden Flower Syrup

Yields

6 l syrup

Ingredients

  • 4 kg linden flower;
  • 4 liters of water;
  • 6 sachets of citric acid;
  • 5 kg of sugar

Directions

  1. Boil water;
  2. Put the linden flowers and citric acid in a suitable container and fill it up with boiling water;
  3. Leave them like this for 48 hours. Stir occasionally;
  4. Strain the linden water and add sugar to it until it dissolves;
  5. Boil the syrup lightly, pour it into dry heated containers and seal immediately;
  6. Store in cool and dry place;
  7. Consume linden flower syrup diluted in still or gassed water
